Crossing the Ubulalo are events that give us the opportunity to meet new friends and help raise awareness about Choshen Farm.

We had a great time meeting longtime supporters and new friends in Spokane, WA in April and on Staten Island, NY in May. Enjoy a few pictures of our friend Sebastian Mumba. It was an immense privilege to bring him to the States on his first trip out of Africa. He shared with us his passion for his community and how we can Cross the Ubulalo with him.

Ubulalo means “Bridge” in Bemba, the language from the village of Fimpulu in rural Zambia.

As in, “Let’s go cross the Ubulalo to Choshen Farm.”

We plan to do additional Crossing the Ubulalo events in other cities in April/May 2025. Email Us if you’d like to receive updates on these future events.

Cross the Ubulalo with Us!

We’re looking for partners to invest in the long-term vision of Choshen Farm. Through these Ubulalo events, we’re focusing on these capital projects to help the village of Fimpulu into the future:

$50,000 for Camps & Conferences

We love to host churches and youth groups but would like to upgrade our facilities to attract government and NGO groups.

$500,000 for the Feed Mill

We have the Warehouse. We have the Equipment. We need capital investment to purchase the raw crops for processing.

$200,000 for LONG-TERM SCHOOL FUNDING

A 20-year project to grow a renewable forest of Southern Pines. The income generated would support school operations for the long-term.

OTHER PROJECTS

$80,000 for 20 Fishponds for the Fimpulu Christian School feeding program | $20,000 for a 6-ton Cargo Van | Sports Complex
